Effect of sintering temperature on structural and magnetic properties of Ni0.6Zn0.4Fe2O4 ferrite: synthesized from nanocrystalline powders

Abstract The effect of sintering temperatures ( T s ) on the structural and magnetic properties Ni 0.6 Zn 0.4 Fe 2 O 4 (NZFO) ferrites synthesized by conventional double method has been reported. samples are sintered at 1200, 1250 1300 °C. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis reveals formation a single phase cubic spinel structure sample. parameters such as saturation magnetization, M ; coercive field, H c remanent r Bohr magneton, µ B determined compared with reported values. obtained values found to be 71.94 emu/gm 1.2 Oe for , respectively = 1300°C Curie temperature various also calculated. It is noteworthy that sample very low could used in transformer core inductor applications.
